This has turned into an all out chess match between Hurney and Peppers now. The game of hardball is being strategically used for both sides so that a stalemate is currently in place. In the end the two may destroy each others' benefit because the Panthers can't do anything with the 16 mil as long as it's tied into Peppers without signing it and in the meantime Peppers is destroying his own reputation as a team player with his childish games.
